MOSAICS RESOURCES

You can find the largest range of supplies at the best price online, although you may also have a craft or mosaics business in your area that stocks mosaics supplies. Some of my favorite online suppliers include:

Maryland Mosaics: large choice, friendly service, quick shipping
Mosaic Tile Mania: lots of stained glass cut into small tiles
Wholesalers USA: a good source of inexpensive supplies (look for the Mosaics section on this site)
Mosaic Art Supply: large choice, good how-to information

Mosaic Mercantile: large choice, good how-to information

Or just type “mosaic supplies” into your web browser. Be careful about buying from an overseas company, because shipping can be very expensive!

OTHER RESOURCES

Don't Make Art, Just Make Something, by Miranda Aisling. A short book about the importance of just starting to make something rather than worrying that you aren't creative or don't have enough talent, don't have the time, need more education first, etc.

Upcycled Art: Upcycling is a fun term for what happens when you take old stuff nobody is using and create something new and wonderful. Check out this great upcycling website.

Pinterest: A wonderful, crazy world of regular people's visual collections. A wonderful place to get inspiration for your own projects too. Warning: You can get lost for weeks in Pinterest!
